Harvest Day

Note to self: buy a sickle

The harvest is in — 64 square feet of hard red winter wheat, planted last October. The grain is drying now and I plan to thresh and separate the wheat from the chaff this weekend. A co-worked has offered to mill it into flour, at which point, I’ll bake up a few loaves of my own bread.
